We have been asked multiple times why did we build Deloz.
It’s a valid question. There are plenty of options out there to manage sales.
But the problem was that none of the options were right for us and the people we knew. Some of them were not even aware of a sales automation platform.
We were using free CRMs out there to keep up with sales of our company and we have suggested some people use some of the Free CRMs.
They were built to get the people in and then make them buy, not to help with the day to day issues we had as business owners and sales heads. With 3 employees trying to use multiple CRMs, our team’s work was going haywire. It felt like we are missing something with all these software. Our customers weren’t happy, and neither were we.
So we looked for a better-paid solution.
Unfortunately, what we found was that the legacy sales software on the market was way more than our small business needed in this era.
Packed with features that we’d never use, the software we used was all cluttered and overwhelming. It felt like a whole new management change, not an extension to help.
After multiple conversations with the sales reps of different CRMs, we realized most of them were running it like a call center to sell more and weren’t product-centric. We both are a huge fan of creating products that sell by itself because of the value it provides.
That’s why we started Deloz, a product that is made for the salespeople, after consulting with 100s of sales executives to understand what they really want.
